DENISE CRONIN

A native of Kenmare, Co. Kerry, Denise received her degree in Visual Communications from Limerick School of Art and Design in 1996. Since then she has worked as an artist and graphic designer, based in Glanmire, Cork.

Painting and creating have always been an important part of her life, since she was very young. In her teens, she decided that she wanted to study art and design. Her painting practice is meditative and a form of escape. At the moment, Denise works primarily with acrylic paint and soft pastels, choosing the medium she feels will best describe the scene she is painting. 

Denise draws inspiration from the stunning and untamed landscapes of Cork and Kerry, seeing paintings in the patterns and of the natural world - the sea, forests, mountains and the ever-changing seasons and colours.
