Éadaoin Glynn

Éadaoin Glynn is a Cork based visual artist who studied literature. As a painter, she is interested in the spaces between abstraction and figuration, where quiet, unspoken experiences can be felt rather than described. She is particularly drawn to the interior lives of women, hidden narratives that are both personal and universal. 

Solo exhibitions include Girl Unknown, The Limerick Museum [2024]; Translucence, ArtNetDlr, Dublin [2024]; Girl Unknown, Signal Arts Centre, Bray [2025] and The Last Taboo, Studio 12, Backwater Artists Studio [forthcoming 2026].  

Éadaoin co-founded WoManifest collective with Mary Bowen-Galvin and Oonagh Hurley.  They collaborated in a three-woman exhibition, Transitus, The Long Space, Backwater Artists Network [2024]. Group shows include the RBSA Prize [2024], Birmingham; BEEP Painting Biennial [2024], Elysium Gallery, Swansea, Wales; The London Art Biennale [2022]; The Art of the Word, Sasse Museum of Art, L.A.[2024]; Profiles Issue 3, The James Joyce Centre, Dublin [2024]; Crosscurrents, Dlr LexIcon, Dublin [2024]; All Along The River, The People's Museum, Limerick [2024]; Summer Exhibition, The Lavit Gallery, Cork [2024]; Duende, ArtNetDlr, Dublin [2024]; Preamble, Uillinn West Cork Arts Centre [2023] and 'OXO', the Outset Gallery, Galway[2023, 2024]. 

Éadaoin's work was published in Profiles [2024], The Purposeful Mayo [2022] and Murze Art Magazine [2019].  In 2023, she founded The Warrior Artist Podcast as a resource for visual artists. She is a member of  Backwater Artists Network and Sample Studios and her work is in private collections nationally and internationally.
