AMBER BROUGHTON

Amber Broughton is a multidisciplinary artist and a lifelong practitioner of drawing. Amber completed an Honours Bachelor Degree from MTU Crawford College of Art and Design in 2013. Amber resides on the Beara Peninsula, on the south west coast of Ireland, where she has forged a deep connection with nature. Through the use of colour pencils and paper, Amber transcribes her personal experience of this connection into a visually perceivable form, proposing moments of mutual witnessing, respect and understanding. Amber believes that the creation and sharing of this artwork helps her to live more symbiotically with her natural environment, giving her life a sense of meaning.
