ABBEY CURRAN

Abby Curran is a Kerry born artist, working in Cork city where she studied Fine Art in Crawford college of art and Design. Abby's practice is drawing and painting based, exploring figurative and structural subjects. Her work explores an embodied response to her surroundings. Abby's work is a bodily reaction to the environment, which can be seen through gestural lines, mark making and fragments of times and places. She uses densely layered features which create an atmospheric energy throughout her works conveying a sense of movement that encapsulates the energetic feeling that pulses through daily life.
