JOANNA KAMINSKA (JOKAMIN)

Joanna Kaminska is the artist behind JOKAMIN. Born in Poland and based in Cork since 2005, Joanna creates her eye-catching work in her Cork-based studio. 

Her art is intriguing, colourful and full of meaning: “I create what I feel is true to me and what my intuition tells me. My work is inspired by identity, beauty, people and life generally.”

Like most self-taught artists Joanna shoots from the hip and paints from the heart, empathically appealing to people in states of transition: “I believe we are all connected as human beings and somehow my art speaks directly to people’s hearts.”

Joanna’s work has been featured in “Munster Interiors”, “Image Interiors & Living”, “Image” and many more publications. She has collaborated with writers and presented at exhibitions throughout Ireland. Her paintings are in private collections in the USA, Europe and Ireland.
